Zoobilation

We went to the zoo yesterday and although it was the hottest, stickiest day, the kids had a lot of fun. We met up with our friends, Mona and Thad, and had a great time. It was really crowded and Sloan did manage to get lost for a few harrowing minutes (which we haven't told daddy about yet). It wasn't really mommy's fault because she didn't realize there was another exit to the playground on the other side of the spider's web. I was standing there waiting for her to come back. After a few minutes I got worried that she hurt herself so I climbed up after her. Imagine my shock when I got to the top of it and saw that there were several paths that led down the hill in the opposite direction and led out to the rest of the park! Obviously the designers of this playground have no children and no sense whatsoever. We managed to find her and she didn't look fazed by her little adventure. I wish I could say the same for mommy.
