At The Circus
We went to the circus yesterday. It was a first for all of us - and probably a last :) The kids had a good time, but I don't think its anything any of us would want to sit through again. The smores were definitely the highlight of the event.

Swimming Graduation
Sloan did really well with swim lessons, too. This was her first time ever swimming without floaties and it took her a few days to get comfortable but now she swims like a fish. She loves it so much that not only does she always come out of the water with a huge smile on her face, but you can see her smiling as she swims under the water!
Jackson Gets Level 5!
Swimming lessons ended today and Jackson graduated to Level 5. That means next summer he can sign up for Crawbiters, which in the swim team for little ones at their swim school, Crawfish Aquatics. He did really well and loved showing off for mommy and daddy in the pool. After he received his report card he made us both read out loud all the wonderful things his teacher, Spencer, wrote about him.
Sloan's Graduation
This was not Sloan's best day for some reason. Her usual, cheerful disposition was nowhere to be found graduation day and although I had been forced to listen to La Bamba countless times in the days leading up to it, she refused to sing on the stage with her classmates. And when she received her "diploma" and we all clapped for her she fussed at the crowd. Fortunately, this was a rare show of temper because she won the Principal's Award for her class. I'm sure most of the parents were wondering how much we paid the principal for it.
Jackson's Graduation
I'm a little late getting these up but, with the kids home for summer, finding time to blog is a challenge. Anyway, their graduation was really cute and Jackson was super excited to know it was the last day of school. He wasn't too excited to hear that he has to go back after summer and will have a new teacher because he's starting pre-k. He sang all of the songs in french, spanish and chinese like a pro and we are really proud of him.
