Bend It Like Jackson

Jack's first soccer practice went pretty well. He didn't want to leave Jason's side for the first few minutes, but then he started to get into it. He did peter out half way through, though, so we're going to work on conditioning over the next week :) His favorite part was the huddle when they all put their hands together and yelled "go tigers!" His coach was very patient and he is going to need it! There are two Jacks and two Jacksons on the team. Everytime he would call out "Jack" (which was a lot) he had four kids running up to him.

Mommy thought David Beckham was a good looking soccer player, but only until she saw this boy in his shorts and cleats :)

Campus Visit

I brought the kids to LSU this morning to see the new Mike. He was actually romping around his enclosure and looked like he was having a lot of fun, but it was hard for the kids to see much because of the crowd. They were much more interested in climbing all over the tiger statue. Then we walked over the Indian Mounds and I let them run up and down until they pooped out. Hello naptime!

Jack's Heisman Pose

I told Jack to strike his best pose in front of the stadium and this is what he did. Just kidding. I was just snapping some shots as the kids ran around at the Indian Mounds on campus and it wasn't until I got home and downloaded the pictures that I even realized the stadium was in the background. I think it must be an omen :) Geaux Tigers!

Sloan - Musical Prodigy (Not!)

Sloanie's music teacher was nice enough to give her a harmonica to bring home. Unfortunately, the only one who seems to be enjoying her "music" is Bailey. Every time she gets going he starts singing (ie. whimpering) right along with her.
